LEARN FROM THE BEST at the 2013 Soccer Champions Coaches' Clinic at Mohegan Sun. Led by Tony DiCicco and Ray Reid, this clinic for soccer coaches features multiple days of cutting-edge instruction and on-field demos by some of the world's top soccer minds. 2013 presenters include: Michelle Akers, FIFA Player of the Century; the FA's Coaching Manager Dick Bate (back again for a third year by popular demand!); National Soccer Coaches Association Director of Coaching Education Ian Barker; National Champion Collegiate Coach and Four-Time National Coach of the Year Ray Reid; and World Cup Champion & U.S. Olympic Gold Medalist Tony DiCicco, among others.
 All attendees become NSCAA members* through our partnership with the National Soccer Coaches Association (an $85 value) and can earn their E License through our partnership with the Connecticut Junior Soccer Association (additional $30 fee applies). Based on the success of our break-out sessions for the last two years, we will continue offering these special topic offerings in 2013 (see Event Schedule page for details).
Sessions will feature top-level youth players/teams who will help our world-class clinicians clearly "paint a picture" of activities, technical skills and training sessions being covered.
Additionally, the Soccer Champions Coaches’ Clinic is pleased to announce TWO NSCAA coaching diploma opportunities for this year. NEW THIS YEAR, the NSCAA Level 5 Coaching Diploma is a 12 hour course where the primary focus is to assist coaches in their teaching of tactics as applied in small groups. Due to popular demand, the NSCAA Goalkeeping Level I Diploma will be offered AGAIN this year. The object of this 6 hour course is to empower the team coach with knowledge and practice methods for evaluating a goalkeeper in game situations. The additional cost of either NSCAA coaching diploma is $40, and you can sign up for either opportunity when you register for the event. Please keep in mind that course sessions may run simultaneously and as such, you may only sign up for ONE additional coaching licensing opportunity.
